The Farm
We are a small family farm and orchard situated in the lovely foothills of the Missouri River just six miles south of Platte City, Missouri. Here we grow a small number of apple and peach trees of select varieties designed to be marketed directly to customers. When weather conditions for the year allow, we sell fresh, tree-ripened, hand-picked peaches and pears from mid-July through early September, usually through area farmers markets. In the autumn we open the farm to visitors. We offer u-pick apples (when the crop is good), a pumpkin patch in October, a rustic barn store, a bakery, and a fun-filled playground with pedal go-carts. Chickens and ducks freely roam the farm, looking for lunch held in small hands; kittens frolic in the barn, and other friendly farm animals are waiting for your visit. During the week we offer school tours, and in the evenings we host hayride parties. Many other gatherings, such as company picnics, weddings, and a variety of parties, are held anytime from spring through the holidays.
